THE OLDEST BISHOP IN THE WORLD JOHN B MCGINLEY - 1870 - 1972 was born in Croagh, Killybegs. He was ordained in Rome, ITaly and spent much of his early clerical life in the Philippines. He was later made a Bishop in California, USA and is noted as being the world's oldest bishop.
