Ballylifin

Ballylifin is a small village on the western tip of the Inishowen peninsula of County Donegal.  It sits on a sloping hill above Pollan Bay, a two mile long sandy beach with views to Glashedy Island which is a small rock covered in green grass and a place where many boats have gone aground over the centuries.  The village sits beside the twin hills of Coolcross and Crockaughrim

Ballylifin is home to what is reputed to be one of the best, if not the best, golf course in Ireland and the British Isles.
